We were born in Andorra as a family business, and we have kept that spirit alive for more than 45 years.

We started with a single store in Andorra. Today, we are present in every ski area in the country with 26 stores, as well as in Spain’s leading ski resorts with 8 stores.

45 years later, we continue to preserve our essence and our passion for the mountains.

Pic Negre is part of the PNS MOUNTAIN INVESTMENT group of companies, alongside the Shusski, Rentaski and Lowki brands, specialists in the rental and sale of mountain equipment in Andorra and Spain.

We specialize in ski, snowboard, bike and mountain equipment rentals. We started as a ski rental business in 1979 and, since then, we have helped thousands of people enjoy the snow and the mountains with the best equipment from leading brands, expert advice and stores right at the foot of the slopes. 1979

Foundation

Pic Negre is founded as a ski rental business in Arinsal.

1982

First Shusski store

A new store opens at the Arinsal ski resort (Port Negre). That same year, the first Shusski store opens in Pas de la Casa.

1992

Expansion

The Group strengthens its position and begins to expand, aiming to reach as many skiers and destinations as possible.

1995–1996

Consolidation

Despite the challenges, such as the avalanche that buried one of the Pic Negre stores in Arinsal, the Group continues to consolidate its growth.

1997

Outside

Opening of a new store and sales offices in La Massana (PIC1).

2001–2002

Outside

Shusski opens new stores in Andorra (Encamp, Incles, La Massana)

2007

Bike Rental

Pic Negre expands its year-round rental offering with its first bike rental store in La Massana (Andorra).

2014–2015

Pic Negre - Shusski Merger

Collaboration agreement between the two companies with the aim of strengthening their position in the market.

2016

Merger

Operational merger; the Group reaches 26 stores.

2018–2019

RentaSki

Integration of RentaSki into the Pic Negre - Shusski Group, with 2 new stores in El Pas de la Casa (Andorra).

2020-2025

International Expansion

Pic Negre begins its expansion into the Spanish market, marking its first venture outside Andorra, with the opening of stores in La Molina, Masella, Sierra Nevada, Formigal, Candanchú and Baqueria (Vielha).
