GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR BIKE AND MOUNTAIN GEAR RENTAL
Pic Negre S.A. offers the rental of its ski and snow equipment with the possibility of picking it up at Pic Negre stores. The booking process can be completed through the Pic Negre website or directly in-store.

Booking rental equipment online implies acceptance of the general conditions outlined below. The general rental conditions may be subject to change, but the applicable conditions are those in effect on the website at the time of booking.
1.OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
This contract regulates the rental service of bicycles and other mountain gear, such as baby carrier backpacks, protection gear, trailers or trekking poles, in accordance with the terms stated on the website and available in-store.
2.BOOKING CONDITIONS
2.1. The booking is considered valid once all steps on the website or in-store are completed, including acceptance of these terms and the corresponding payment.
2.2. The customer agrees to provide accurate information and acknowledges having read and understood these conditions.
2.3. All rental equipment is described on our website. The cost of online booking is lower than the in-store price, with no intermediaries or handling fees.
3.BOOKING PROCESS
- Select the pick-up store.
- Choose the rental duration.
- Select your gear based on skill level, size or specific needs.
- Proceed with the payment.
- Print the voucher that will be sent by email and present it in-store.
4.PRICES AND PAYMENT
- Prices depend on the equipment, type of product chosen and/or rental duration. Prices are public and available in the "Our Rates" section of the Pic Negre website.
- Payment will be made to Pic Negre using a bank card (Visa, Mastercard) through the banking institution Andbank (Andorran Bank).
- Andbank manages the secure exchange of data and guarantees the confidentiality of codes and their management.
- Financial charges related to payments made outside the card issuing country and other banking fees will be borne by the customer.
- During payment, encrypted banking data does not pass through Pic Negre’s systems and is therefore not stored by the company.
- Pic Negre does not store any banking information, which is encrypted and managed by the bank.
5.RENTAL CONTRACT
The booking is considered final and effective once Pic Negre receives the full rental payment and the customer receives an email confirmation including the rental “voucher” to be printed and presented at the selected Pic Negre store.
6.RENTAL DURATION AND PICK-UP
6.1. The rental period begins when the customer collects the equipment in-store and ends on the day of return.
6.2. Pick-up is done on the same day as the reservation, starting at store opening hours.
6.3. A credit/debit card or an ID will be required as a security guarantee.
6.4. The equipment must be returned to the same store where it was collected, and in the same condition.
7. USE OF THE EQUIPMENT
7.1. The use of rented equipment is personal and non-transferable.
7.2. The customer is required to use, maintain and care for the equipment properly and only for its intended purpose. The renter acknowledges having inspected the equipment in advance and confirms it is in good condition and fully available.
7.3. Returning different equipment than initially delivered implies payment for the new equipment. The renter is strictly forbidden from modifying the binding settings.
7.4 It is forbidden to use electric bikes (e-bikes) or Enduro bikes on downhill (DH) circuits such as those at the Bike Park. Failure to comply will result in a €300 penalty.
7.5. Misuse of the rented equipment will result in a penalty equivalent to the cost of the repair.
8. CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS
8.1. Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before pick-up and the paid amount will be refunded using the same payment method.
8.2. In case of force majeure (illness or accident), the equipment may be returned and a proportional refund calculated (with supporting documents). In this case, the refund will be issued by sending an email, using the same card used during the booking.

9. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
9.1. The customer is responsible for the equipment from the time of pick-up until its return.
9.2. In case of loss, theft or damage not covered by warranty, the customer must pay the full value of the equipment.
9.3. The customer may not replace or modify the equipment without store authorization.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1. Pic Negre will not be held liable for any damage or accident resulting from the use of the equipment, except in the case of defects attributable to it.
10.2. The customer assumes all risks related to the use of the equipment and declares to have the necessary experience or knowledge for its use.
11. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
11.1. The collected data will be used to manage your booking and, unless expressly denied, for commercial purposes.
11.2. In accordance with applicable regulations, customers may exercise their rights to access, rectify or oppose by writing to info@picnegre.com.

Pic Negre shall not be held responsible for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions contained in this website.
Pic Negre reserves the right to update or modify any content on the website at any time.
Pic Negre shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the information on this site. Users agree not to use this website to share content that could incur civil or criminal liability and also agree not to publish illegal, defamatory, or public order–offending content through this site.
